UHM. Anyways. Like, I'm not online in CA right now, but in the dorms, finishing up the first week of classes, hahha. The dorms are nice, my roommate is super nice, and my classes seem...alright I guess, hahaha. I think I'm going to really like my sculpting class, but otherwise, LOL oh well.
UH........Being social is hard! :D

For those of you who haven't heard, I guess I should update this thing.
I am officially going to go to school during the fall in CA, hooray! :'D;;;
I'm kind of freaking out about it, but whatever I guess, right? It's pretty normal to do so ;aljsf.
I know what dorm I'm in now, but I won't know my roommate until I move in on the 29th. The date I'm leaving Japan is the 25th, and the 24th is the last day that I'll get to see everyone ): GAY. (At least it's the Bon Odori, and Cultureshock is playing, so it makes me feel a little better)
My mom and dad have already begun looking at tickets for me to come back during winter break for a month, hooray! They just don't know if they'll be able to make it during Thanksgiving break.

I....started knitting again?!
I really don't know what else to say, hahah. My life has been pretty boring, per usual.

I found out the other day that my dad told my mom that if we don't get the residency stuff all figured out that I'm going to be staying here and going to Maryland.
I...am kind of okay with that. I've told my mom that it'd probably be easier for everyone if I stayed here anyways, and now she's like 'WAIT WHAT?! D: WHY ARE YOU SAYING THIS!??' and it's annoying me. I'm not so good with explaining what goes through my head, I suppose.

Tomorrow is Trav's birthday! (: For dinner we're going to go to Machida and go to this one place that has massive beers, from what he's said? Something like that. He's going to call up some of his friends too, so it should be fun, hah.

Then the day after, hopefully I'll be able to finally hang out with some people. At least Naddie, I guess, haha.

About time.

Jesus. I wanted to be home by like the 17th. And like a week later I finally arrive home, hah. At least I got home, I guess??
Our whole trip thing....It was special. Both good and bad. I don't want to get into too much detail, so I'll just say that we got a lot nicer hotel at Guam for a better deal, and we had a great deal of stress around 4 AM due to the terminal. We made it home, though, so our stress can slightly decrease.
I say slightly because of this thing with the college that is going on. They don't consider me a resident yet, even if we have sent them all the forms that they asked for. This causes my tuition to be like $4,000 more than it should be, which my parents don't want to pay for. We saw this like on the 17th, but (of course, right?) the one person that can help us was out of the office until the 22nd. So we sent her an e-mail just incase and were kind of like "Well, shit, what now?" We got other numbers for different people, but every one of them just sent us to someone else and we were getting no where. So now we get a response from someone, we sent her the same stuff we sent last year, and are just waiting for an answer.
AND.
I have to go through all of my room. Like, clean it to bear-bones. I've already gone through my clothes, but I need to finish my closet and stuff -- like the stuff on the ground that I never see/use, haha.
My mom is going to have me go driving today, and we're going to drop off three massive bags of clothes at the Second Fiddle, hah. Fun times await me.

I wish I was able to sleep in a little more than just 6 ): Kind of lame.

My mom called Travis AFB and it sounds like there's a flight going to Yokota on Monday! :D Tomorrow night we'll hear how many seats there are (The flight going from here to Alaska to Yokota only had two, hah.) and then hopefully, Monday we'll be leaving to back home! :'D :'D :'D I am very hopeful and excited alsdkfj;.

EDIT: Of course, after I say this, things change around a little. The flight will still end up in Yokota, sure, but it's stopping off in Hawaii, then Guam first. ): We are still up in the air if we'll take it (I'm saying that we do, just because I want to get home) but when rationally thinking about it, ugh. I'll keep updating on if we are/aren't though. SIGH.

EDITx2: So it seems that we're taking the flight! (: It's 4:30 AM and we're going to leave pretty quick here to get to the base on time. There are 73 for sure seats on the plane, so we feel a little better about the whole thing, hah. Hopefully I'll be seeing you guys in a few.

EDITx3: SO, uh, I've been trying to update a little bit on my LJ, but now that I have a little bit more time for internet stuff, I figure I can go into a little bit more detail about the flight on here.
Like. The flight itself went alright. We got there and almost thought that we wouldn't be able to make it, but we did, amazingly (: So we went out to this like, two story plane (we were on the second story -- had to go up this rickety&steep flight of stairs to get there a;lskdfj;f) and were sitting backwards in the plane the whole flight. THEN. We get to Hawaii, and they were like 'Uh, I don't know why everyone thinks we're just going on to Guam now, it's pretty obvious that you are going to be staying overnight.' which was my mom's biggest fear about taking the flight. She obviously wasn't very happy about it, haha. AND THEN we find out that we'll most likely be staying overnight at Guam as well. So she's pissed, and I feel uber guilty 'cause I'm the main reason we took the stupid flight. She tries to go and get a room at some hotel, and the best we got was this rather....well, the hotel was a dive, which is putting it nicely, haha. Then we went to go see my doctor there, just to say hi, and it was overall a nice stay. Just...we didn't want to do it, hahaha.

BUT, I have to go now, so I'll end it there, and hopefully once I get to Guam, there's some free wi-fi somewhere :D

So, orientation was Monday, and believe it or not, I had fun :'D. I surprised myself, actually. A little into the whole tour and everything, I got over my social anxiety and started talking with the people that were in my group, 'cause from what I heard, they sounded like fun. AND, they were, haha.
I have my classes all lined up, and they go as follows: Beginning Sculpting, Human Development, Freshman Seminar, and Magic & Witchcraft + Religion (which I think it sounds like fun, but I might trade it in for one of the Art History classes once school starts, who knows. My folks aren't really happy with it, I can tell you that, at least, hahaha.)
But, like, a whole bunch of the people that were in my group were Art majors too, so I'm hoping that I'll see/hang out with them more -- one of them is going to be in my scuplting class, to boot :'D. SO YEAH, I hope I have some new friends now, hahaha.
I'm thinking that I'm going to join the QSA club once school starts, but kind of keep it like, hushhush from my folks. They want me to join the Jazz club, of course :'D;;;;. Who knows, maybe I could do both.

OH! There was an activity thing during FROSH night, right? And guess what it was: salsa dancing. So yeah, I pretty much just sat in the corner watching everyone -- which was fine by me, of course. It was rather funny XD. Like, most everyone that was there wasn't a dancer, so they were stumbling around and everything. It was amazing, hahah.

AND FOR WHEN I'M COMING BACK --- we still don't really know. My mom called Travis AFB this morning, and there are no flights to Yokota today or tomorrow, which is all that they will tell her. There is one to Misawa, but we don't really want to do that at all.
So hopefully we'll be back this week, but like I said, we don't really know ):
